Happy Wednesday! With God all things are possible -- and these birds soaring over golden mountain peaks at sunrise are the living proof. Wednesday can feel like a wall sometimes. The week's to-do list stretches long in both directions, deadlines loom, energy is running lower than Monday. And then this: a sky full of birds clearing the summit of a mountain range as the sun breaks over the horizon, the mist rising in the valleys below, the whole world lit from above with the gold of a fresh morning. "With God all things are possible" -- Matthew 19:26. Jesus said these words when His disciples asked "Who then can be saved?" -- a question born of despair about the spiritual condition of humanity. His answer was not a program or a strategy. It was a declaration about God: what is impossible with man is possible with God. Wednesday's mountains are real. The obstacles you are navigating this week are real. The tiredness is real. But the God who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, and turned the disciples' despair into Pentecost joy is the same God who walks with you through Wednesday afternoon.
