Lord Krishna stands in His signature tribhanga (triple bend) pose -- the three-curve posture where the body bends in opposite directions at the neck, waist, and knee, creating an S-curve of divine elegance that has been captured in sculpture and painting for over two millennia. In His hands rests the flute, and from that flute rises the music that is said to have drawn all of Vrindavan to Krishna's feet -- the cows in the fields, the birds from the trees, the gopis from their homes and duties.
