The stone was rolled away to let us look in and see: He is not here. Paul's entire argument in 1 Corinthians 15 builds to this moment. If Christ hasn't been raised, he says, our faith is in vain (v.17). But Christ HAS been raised, and that changes everything. Death — the undefeated champion, the one enemy no human has ever beaten — has been defeated. Not fought to a draw. Not narrowly escaped. Defeated. The morning light flooding the dark interior is the visual translation of victory. Darkness occupied this space. Now light possesses it. The grave clothes are there; the body is not. The darkness is still visible — the stone walls, the burial shelf — but light has overwhelmed it. "Through our Lord Jesus Christ" is the mechanism. The victory is God's gift, given through Christ's resurrection. We didn't storm the tomb. We didn't roll the stone. Christ did the fighting; we receive the victory.
