Stories of the Prophets

The Stories of the Prophets (Qasas al-Anbiya) tell of the messengers sent by Allah to guide humanity — from Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his great sacrifice, to Prophet Musa (Moses) parting the sea, to Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) and his journey from betrayal to triumph. In Islamic art tradition, these stories are depicted through calligraphy, landscapes, geometric patterns, and symbolic imagery rather than human figures, creating a unique and deeply spiritual visual tradition.
