Nag Panchami Wallpapers

Nag Panchami is a Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of serpent deities (Nagas), observed on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Shravana. Snakes hold a sacred place in Hindu mythology as associates of Lord Shiva, who wears Vasuki around his neck, and Lord Vishnu, who rests on Shesha Nag. Devotees offer milk, flowers, and turmeric to snake idols and live snakes at temples. In Maharashtra, snake charmers traditionally bring live cobras for worship, though modern celebrations focus on temple rituals. In Kerala, Nag Panchami is celebrated at Mannarasala and other serpent temples with elaborate rituals. Karnataka celebrates it with Nagara Panchami where turmeric-coated snake idols are worshipped. In West Bengal, the serpent goddess Manasa is worshipped on this day. The festival is observed across India but holds particular significance in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, and parts of North India.
